Aaaah, yes. It is our 3rd anniversary. (giggles) I was at a loss as to how I am going to come up with an entry. Then I finally decided, I am going to post our anniversary gifts to each other.
I gave my husband a Holga camera….
…and he gave me…
…a USB flash disk!

How romantic! I guess that’s what our 3rd year was all about. It is finally accepting who we really are individually in this relationship. Most people would say that opposites attract. To me, this is not about us being so different–him being a left-brain person and I being more on the right side of the brain (hence, the nature of the gifts). It is about our capacity to accept the differences which are sometimes irreconcileable, to not being afraid to argue over these differences, and finally surrender and just say in true Bridget Jones fashion: I LOVE YOU…JUST AS YOU ARE. (hwaaaaa! I just cried!!!!)
Thanks to my husband for a wonderful 3 years. And thank you, my friends, for being part of our life. I love you, bana! And I love you all!!!! (gives everyone a gigantic hug)
