This is a tradition in our family for the past 10 years. Every year, we talk about a theme for our Christmas tree. I just love how different our trees were for the past years: orange sinamay (2002), angels and red and gold paper twine (2003), abaca (2004), green and gold (2005), and for this year (cue fanfare)…
…the theme is romantic violet! (that sounded sooooo gay. hahahahaha!) Yes, dearests. It’s violet with sudden bursts of pink here and there. Why violet? My sister said it is the color for next year.
So, i am inviting everyone to showcase your tree in your blog. That would be fun. I won’t be tagging anyone. This is on a strictly voluntary basis because the gods in the heavens know that some people would commit murder for being tagged or simply they do not believe in putting up trees or anything that commercializes Christmas. (winks at nastypen. thanks for the warning, gurl. i don’t want to be burnt to death just like what you did to that baby. hahahaha!)
